Happy Easter! As we approach Holy Week, Christians around the world will focus on Jesus Christ. His crucifixion and resurrection. His cross and empty tomb.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus are the most important events in history. They’re the very foundation of the gospel – the central truth that God provided a way of salvation through His Son (John 3:16).
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) wants you to experience true joy this Easter. Their FREE Victory devotional will prepare your heart for celebration. For the download link and a short review, keep reading.
What is the Victory Devotional?
Victory: Preparing for Resurrection Sunday is a devotional e-book by American evangelist Billy Graham. It’s a great resource for personal or family devotions.
Victory presents eight short readings from 1 Corinthians 15, also called the “Resurrection Chapter.”
These daily meditations contemplate the death of Jesus and celebrate His resurrection. They marvel at the price He paid for us to live in victory – now and for eternity (John 11:25-26):
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” – Jesus
Jesus spoke these words to Martha of Bethany, the sister of Mary and Lazarus. Words of comfort and hope to a personal friend. Yet, what awesome promise they give us today!
