The apostle Paul urged all Christians to pray for each other (Ephesians 6:18). This includes believing wives, who are called to pray for their husbands. Do YOU pray for your spouse?
Prayer is the best thing we, as wives, can do for our husbands as they face the challenges of life. What would happen if we prayed for them every day? How would it change our marriages?
Let’s find out!

Why Pray for Your Husband?
Your husband is the most important person in your life. You love him, and you want him to be the man God made him to be. But the enemy wants to destroy him AND your marriage.
Each and every day, your husband faces attacks and temptations that test his commitment to you. He needs your prayers and support. So pray for him! Then trust God as you surrender your husband and marriage to His loving care.
How to Pray for Your Husband
How should you pray for your husband? Often and long!
Maybe you already made a commitment to pray for him. You went to a Bible study, raised your hand, or signed a pledge card. You started out strong, only to stop a few days later. Something distracted you, and you forgot to pray for your spouse.
This happens to me, too. Despite my best intentions, I get busy and forget to pray for Mitch. But our marriage could be so much better with consistent and focused prayer.
And so can yours.

We should all want the best for our husbands (Proverbs 31:12), so let’s do something about it. Let’s take the next 31 days to pray for them on a daily basis. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for our marriages!
Are you with me?
