In reply to <a href="https://savoringhome.com/patriotic-popsicles/#comment-365">Diana Severance</a>.

Hi, Diana!

What a beautiful comment. Your kind words mean so much to me - so uplifting and encouraging. Thank you! I love red, white, and blue and I'm glad you do, too.

Every Independence Day, I remember the American Bicentennial celebration your family hosted. The beautiful costumes of period clothing, delicious food, and fun sing-alongs. "Goober Peas!" Everything was so patriotic and memorable!

I'm glad you found my blog, and I hope you enjoy reading some of the articles. Until we chat again, have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend and a great summer.

Love, Annette

Annette,
Somehow I just discovered your "Savoring Home" website when I clicked onto your Independence Day notice on Facebook. I love it - everything is so beautifully Christian and well done. I'm going to have to go back and read your many earlier posts. I do love the red, white, and blue recipes and thoughts on Independence Day. In many ways your writing reminds me of Edith Schaeffer, who brought such Christian beauty into her family life with Francis Schaeffer. Love, Diana
