Every Independence Day, I remember the American Bicentennial celebration your family hosted. The beautiful costumes of period clothing, delicious food, and fun sing-alongs. “Goober Peas!” Everything was so patriotic and memorable!

Somehow I just discovered your “Savoring Home” website when I clicked onto your Independence Day notice on Facebook. I love it – everything is so beautifully Christian and well done. I’m going to have to go back and read your many earlier posts. I do love the red, white, and blue recipes and thoughts on Independence Day.
